Girlfriends Films is donating $1000 to Best Friends Animal Society on behalf of AVN Media Network founder Paul Fishbein. Best Friends Animal Society is guided by a simple philosophy: kindness to animals builds a better world for all. The monetary gift is the January 2012 selection for Girlfriend’s Films monthly charity program. Past charities include Lambda Legal, Muscular Dystrophy Association, NPR, and more. Popular lesbian performer Jelena Jensen also selected Best Friends Animal Society, in November 2011. Fishbein’s donation is dedicated to ensuring a time when there are no longer homeless pets.
