Girlfriends Films Celebrates Caitlyn Jenner with Donation to National Center for Transgender Equality

Adult Companies Are Invited to Match Girlfriends Films’ $1,000 Donation!

VALENCIA, Calif. (June 9, 2015) — Girlfriends Films is using the June selection for its charity program to celebrate Caitlyn Jenner and her gender transformation.  A $1,000 donation will be made to the National Center for Transgender Equality in Jenner’s name.  The adult studio is also calling upon other companies in the industry to match its donation and help support the transgender community.

National Center for Transgender Equality was founded in 2003 by transgender activists who recognized the urgent need for policy change to advance transgender equality.  Providing a powerful transgender advocacy presence in Washington, DC, NCTE is composed of a team of hard-working staff members and supported by a nationwide community of transgender people, allies, and advocates with an extensive record of winning life-saving change for transgender people.

The adult entertainment industry has recently become famous for its very public offers to celebrities, tempting them to appear in movies for a large amount of money – sometimes as much as $1 million.  Celebrities targeted include Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Tara Reid, Pipa Middleton, Rob Gronkowski, and more.

Last week, Girlfriends Films took a different approach, sending Caitlyn Jenner’s representatives a letter giving her the opportunity to direct or appear in an erotic educational movie raising awareness for the transgender community.  All profits from the film would be donated to a transgender non-profit of Jenner’s choice.  The offer was politely declined via email by Jenner’s publicity team.

“Everyone at Girlfriends Films was inspired by Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover and her story,” says Girlfriends Films President Moose.  “We were very sincere in making our movie offer in order to help bring even more awareness, support, and money to the transgender community.  However, we also want to applaud Caitlyn’s transition through our charity program.”

“I invite our friends and colleagues in the adult industry to join us in donating to National Center for Transgender Equality,” adds Moose.  “We in the adult movie-making industry have been judged and marginalized by society for decades and have great compassion for other individuals who are fighting for acceptance and tolerance.

Girlfriends Films is the premier lesbian adult studio in the world, and for over a decade, it has worked to make a difference through a sex-positive message of pleasure, love, and acceptance, as well as through philanthropy and outreach.  Girlfriends Films’ motto, “For Fine Folks with Good Hearts & Curious Minds,” has appeared on the cover of every movie the company has ever made.

Each month, Girlfriends Films donates to a charity selected by its employees, performers, directors, and adult industry principals. In 2014, the Girlfriends Films Charity Program donated over $20,000 to a wide array of philanthropic organizations, from medical institutes to animal sanctuaries.  Charities supported in 2014 included Alzheimer’s Foundation of America,  Movember Foundation,  Stand Up to Cancer,  National Alliance to End Homelessness, and more.

Any Girlfriends Films performers interested in participating may apply by emailing the following information to  ”PR@GirlfriendsFilms.com: name, AIP charity of choice, reason(s) for selecting the charity.  Chosen performers will be asked to submit a personal photo depicting the performer engaged with the charity, the charity’s mission, or a similar charitable act.  The photo will be used for promotional purposes.

‘Road Queen’ Star Deauxma Selects Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund as Girlfriends Films’ May Charity

Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund www.fallenheroesfund.org is the Girlfriends Films May Charity, as selected by “Road Queen” star https://twitter.com/Deauxma Deauxma. With the charity choice, the
popular MILF performer is paying tribute to her family members who have served in the military. Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund will receive a check for $1,000 from Girlfriends Films in Deauxma’s name.

“The reason I picked this charity is because the military is close to me,” states Deauxma. “My father was a retired vet, and so is my husband, who served 20 years in the Air Force. The Intrepid House is also located here in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas.”

Deauxma continues, “The fund provides services in support of military personnel severely injured protecting our nation; services are designed to improve the medical care provided to them and enhance their ability to return to military service or a productive and independent civilian life. Our vets and active duty military give so much and get so little in return for their service to our country, so that we can all live in a free world. Those wounded and scarred should be given as much help as they can to live out a normal and peaceful life.”

Multiple Sclerosis Foundation Chosen by Trinity St. Claire as April’s Girlfriends Films Charity

Adult star Trinity St. Claire chooses the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (MSF) as Girlfriends Films’
April Charity. The selection is in honor of St. Claire’s mother, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

MSF will receive a check for $1,000 from Girlfriends Films in St. Claire’s name. Trinity St. Claire states, “There is one woman who I would give my life for, and that is my mom. She is the strongest, most resilient woman I know. After giving and caring for others for years as a nurse, she was hit with a whirlwind – multiple sclerosis.”

“When she was diagnosis with MS I was scared for her. She fought each attack back, never letting it
defeat her. Now she lives day in and day out with this disease. Each day is different, and each day
brings on challenges, but she’s a survivor and will always conquer it,” adds St. Claire.
MSF provides a comprehensive approach to helping people with MS maintain their health and wellbeing.

It offers programming and support to keep them self-sufficient and their homes safe, while
its educational programs heighten public awareness and promote understanding about the disease.

Movember Selected as January Charity by Girlfriends Films Employee Wilson

Girlfriends Films’ Warehouse Manager, Wilson, has selected Movember as the January charity. The
Movember Foundation will receive a check for $1,000 from Girlfriends Films, on behalf of Wilson, toraise awareness and funds for men’s health.

Movember is held each year during the month of November. Throughout the month, men around
the world grow out their facial hair in order to raise money within the community to battle prostate
and testicular cancer.

“My father had a prostate cancer scare recently, which really opened my eyes to the serious lack of
men’s health awareness in society,” states Wilson. “Movember is a great way to get people involved in health issues, like prostate cancer. I’m extremely thankful to Girlfriends Films for the opportunity to support Movember in honor of my father.”

Each month, Girlfriends Films turns to its employees, performers, directors, and adult industry principals to select a charity to support. In 2014, the Girlfriends Films Charity Program donated over
$20,000 to a wide array of philanthropic organizations, from medical institutes to animal sanctuaries.
