Honoring Christian Mann, Girlfriends Films Donates $1000 to USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center

Adult industry leader Christian Mann recently passed away, and as a result, Girlfriends Films will designate the studio’s September charity donation of $1,000 to the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. Mann’s family requested contributions be made to the charity in lieu of flowers or other gifts.

Donations to the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center allow it to continue to provide compassionate, innovative patient care and further the cutting-edge cancer research of its scientists. The research leads to a better understanding of the causes, and ultimately discovering cures, for cancer. The center’s highly skilled physicians, nurses and researchers are unwaveringly dedicated to the fight against cancer and truly appreciate all support from donors.

Girlfriends Films President Moose says, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mann family. Christian embodied everything good about our industry, allowing his actions and generosity to change perceptions of the adult entertainment. He showed we all have a social responsibility to give back to the community, which is something our charity program strives to do.”

Each month, Girlfriends Films turns to one of its employees or performers to select a charity to support. In 2013, the Girl- friends Films Charity Program donated over $20,000 to a wide array of philanthropic organizations, from medical institutes to animal sanctuaries. Charities supported in 2014 include Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, Movember Foundation, Stand Up to Cancer, National Alliance to End Homelessness, and more.
