Girlfriends Films Editor Evan K. Designates Prevent Child Abuse America to Receive April Charity Donation

Evan K., an editor and seven-year employee of Girlfriends Films, has designated Prevent Child Abuse America as the recipient of April’s charity donation. As a result, Girlfriends Films will write a check for $1,000 to the organization on behalf of Evan.

“After reviewing the list of charities on CharityWatch.org, one that caught my attention was Prevent Child Abuse America,” states Evan K. “I hear on the news about all the abuse many children in our country have endured – being a father of four, I can’t imagine my kids suffering like some of the children we learn about. It is a tragedy that can be prevented if parents had the proper tools and counseling to identify their negative behavior. I can only hope my contribution can save at least one child from enduring any form of abuse. I want to thank Girlfriends Films for allowing its employees to contribute towards a worthy cause.”

Prevent Child Abuse America works to ensure the healthy development of children nationwide, rec- ognizing child development is a building block for both community and economic development. In- novative communities across the country are achieving great results in preventing abuse and neglect from ever occurring, and Prevent Child Abuse America is committed to bringing this kind of ingenuity to communities everywhere.

Each month, Girlfriends Films turns to its employees, performers, directors, and adult industry prin- cipals to select a charity to support. In 2013, the Girlfriends Films Charity Program donated over $20,000 to a wide array of philanthropic organizations, from medical institutes to animal sanctuaries.
“I am honored to be working for such a great company,” says Evan. “Employees are treated fairly, and even though our country is facing financial turmoil, I am blessed to still have my position. The experience working for Girlfriends Films on series like ‘Road Queen’ and ‘Lesbian Ghost Stories’ has been rewarding, and each day I continue to expand my knowledge in film editing. I have met wonder- ful co-workers and enjoy coming to work every day. I was amazed when we were recently asked to pick a charity in which our company will make a contribution to on our behalf. I embrace any corpora- tion that gives back to such charities and community.”
