Films is donating $1000 to Best Friends Animal Society on behalf of
adult industry superstar Allie Haze. The monetary gift is the September
2012 selection for Girlfriend’s Films monthly charity program. Past
charities include Lambda Legal, Muscular Dystrophy Association, NPR,
Cancer Research Institute, and more. Popular lesbian performer Jelena
Jensen and AVN Media Network founder Paul Fishbein also selected Best
Friends Animal Society in past months. Haze’s donation is dedicated to
ensuring a time when there are no longer homeless pets. “I chose this
charity because I believe animals have a special place in everyone’s
lives,” says Haze. “I’ve previously volunteered at animal shelters and
assisted with animal rescues, so I know this donation will be put to
