I
choose to give my donation to Doctors Without Borders. I only wish I
had the skills and knowledge of a doctor to be able to help people in
need of health care. One thing I can’t stand about health care is that
is a business.a rather large and profitable one. I don’t think it should
be treated that way at all! I know doctors need to make a living and be
respected for the hard schooling it takes, but everyone deserves the
right to be healthy and to be helped, no matter how much money they
make. A doctor taking his or her time and skill (and risk their lives in
many cases) to help others in need, knowing that they are getting
nothing in return other than the fact that they helped heal someone in
need, is probably one of the most beautiful and selfless things anyone
can do. Everyone needs to help each other more in this world and stop
being so selfish. People who donate to this organization help pay for
doctors’ travel expenses to third world countries to help people in
need. With this donation, I am happy to join the others who help
facilitate health care of the disadvantaged and needy. Angela Sommers

Girlfriends Films is donating $1000 to American Red Cross on behalf of Dan Miller of Xbiz
I
have the utmost respect for the tireless efforts of the American Red
Cross, an organization that always answers the call when people are in
need. They place themselves on the front lines of natural disasters and
respond to emergencies both domestically and abroad when humanitarian
aid is the only hope. When Dan O’Connell asked me about participating in
the Girlfriends Films’ charity program, I was humbled to recommend a
donation to this amazing foundation that has had such a profound impact
on the world. Dan Miller of XBIZ

Girlfriends Films Donates $1000 to National Breast Cancer Coalition Fundon Behalf of Tanya Tate
As
not only a woman, but a woman in her thirties breast cancer is a
serious concern for me. I know that there is a possibility that one day I
may be afflicted by it, as it has savagely affected people I have been
friends with, people I’ve met in my life. I support NBCCF mission to end
breast cancer. Coming from the UK we are lucky enough to have access to
free health care and screening for breast and cervical cancer. NBCCF
works towards funding cancer research, care for uninsured women and
support for people diagnosed with the disease. Cancer has affected
someone known to each and every one of us which is why my chosen charity
is National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund. www.stopbreastcancer.org
